The SAI Fu-de Charity Foundation, together with the Yunlin Branch of the Crime Victim Protection Association Taiwan, provides scholarships for victims of crimes to encourage victims or their children to study hard and strengthen their competitiveness in society.
In view of the fact that the types of service objects of the Crime Victims Protection Association have increased a lot in recent years, the foundation’s scholarships are supplemented by improving the unbalanced living environment, economic constraints, and multiple disadvantages of the victim’s family caused by the traumatic incident. Which made the victim or their children lack of good educational environment and learning motivation lead to low academic achievement and loss of self-esteem and confidence.
So far, the SAI Fu-De Charity Foundation has tracked the status of the applicants in the past three years, and found that the applicants can maintain excellent academic performance almost every semester, showing their desire and pursuit of knowledge. The foundation hopes that the students who have been assisted by the association will become solid pillars of the society in the future, contribute their own strength, and give back to the society.
