The Manufacturers Association of Yunlin Science and Technology Industrial Park has devoted itself to public welfare for a long time. Today (3rd), Ms. Li Mei-hui, the honorary chairman, and SAI Fu-de Charity Foundation together donated a number of supplies including refrigerators, electric fans, daily commodities, and anti-epidemic materials were given to the St. Joseph Social Welfare Foundation. The representative of the St. Joseph Social Welfare Foundation CEO, Lin Su-jen, awarded a certificate of appreciation to SAI to express their gratitude.
Lin said that the foundation adheres to the spiritual mission of “going wherever there is need”, and has set up several bases to provide services from children in early intervention care to vulnerable elders in remote areas. Professional teachers can help children with early intervention care to keep up with the development pace in time; experienced housekeepers can provide break times for caregivers of families with disabled and/or demented elders to reduce their pressure and improve the quality of life.
Gary Huang, executive director of SAI Foundation, said “we are committed to cooperate with the government’s social welfare policies and combining social resources to invest in children’s welfare , long-term care, emergency relief and other community project care services. We’d like to contribute to the community, and call on the public to actively respond together to help children with early intervention care and vulnerable elders be properly cared of.”
