The Yunlin “Taiwan Fund for Children and Families”(CCF) year-end garden party was grandly held on Dec. 3rd at the Huwei Agricultural Expo Ecological Park to praise self-reliant families. The charity booth entertained more than 4,000 parents and children from nearly a thousand families, and each family also received NT$1,000. Shopping gift certificates, and a fun parent-child “Dragon Boating on the Road” competition was held on site. CCF would like to thank all walks of life for their kind response in providing warmth and to create a parent-child amusement park.

During the event, representatives from the Fude SAI Foundation, Aurora Travel, and Zhenglong accompanied parents and children to wear cute dinosaur costumes, roll a big ball, and compete in dragon boat races on land. Full of laughter filled the Agricultural Expo Park venue. The picnic was held in the green and comfortable venue of Yunlin Agricultural Expo, and rich livelihood necessities were distributed to each household. There were delicious and fun stalls such as food, free haircut, and naval propaganda in the event. 17 families were commended for their self-reliance, perseverance and courage in facing financial difficulties.
Yunlin Family Support Director Liao Zhiwen thanked the county government and the township and city offices for their support in making the end-of-year garden trip for 4,000 parents and children successfully held. Each household will also receive a shopping gift certificate of NT$1,000 to reduce the family’s financial expenses and inject life motivation into Yunlin Home Assistance Service families to continue working hard towards the new Year of the Dragon!
