Huang Guanchang, CEO of Yunlin County Fude Qiaoxin Social Welfare Charitable Foundation, said that the public welfare concept of enterprises and foundations in Yunlin area is to participate in the method of teaching people how to fish with fishing rods, and through education and companionship, it can turn over and change the disadvantaged. The best way for children and families, this is also an issue that we and World Vision Taiwan have been paying attention to for a long time.
Huang Guanchang pointed out that we are all looking forward to interacting with the children we care for today. Making aquaponics tanks not only opens up children’s concept of mutual benefit and symbiosis, but also hopes that everyone will pay more attention to environmental protection and sustainability issues. Xiaoyou, who is currently in Primary 6, has divorced parents and is raised by his grandmother alone. The family’s finances depend on his father who works part-time. Hu Wanwen, director of the Central District Office of World Vision Taiwan, said that according to World Vision Taiwan’s survey, continued inflation has made the families we serve more struggling with various expenses. We serve a total of about 44,000 disadvantaged children. Among families, 21% have a monthly financial gap of more than 50,000 yuan, 80% of disadvantaged children lack learning resources, and more than 20,000 teenagers have difficulty making clear plans for their future careers due to family finances. The public is sincerely invited to respond to the “Domestic Student Aid Action” and the “Children’s Subsidy Program” by providing regular student aid of 1,000 yuan per month, or regular financial aid to domestic children of 2,000 yuan per month, to help children complete their studies, pursue their dreams, and change their future.
