Qiaoxin Technology Industrial Company has entered into its fourth year of assisting children in Yunlin. Last year, it began to care for the Alishan Tsou Angel Cultural Team, leading volunteers to visit schools, interact with the children of the cultural team, listen to teachers’ explanations, and learn about the Tsou culture.
Huang Guanchang, CEO of Yunlin County Fude Qiaoxin Social Welfare Charitable Foundation, said that he visited the Zou Angel Cultural Team for the first time last year with the Vision Society. He heard the children’s innocent singing, and saw the children’s recognition of their own culture and their development after participating in the cultural team. Self-confidence and a sense of achievement are important keys to the continued support of foundations and enterprises, hoping to provide children with more development opportunities on the road to learning and to study with peace of mind.
Lin Jinfu, the principal of Dabang Elementary School, said that there are about 40 people in the Zou Angel Cultural Team. Some children are in trouble because their fathers are working in other places and their mothers cannot go out to work to take care of their grandmother and younger sister. They were invited to join Zou Angel after being assisted by the Outlook Association. In the cultural team, children not only know the traditional songs of the Tsou people, but also find confidence and love for singing.
