On October 20, 2026, the “2026 ESG × IFRS: A New Era of Sustainability Disclosure” Forum was jointly organized by KGI Securities, IR Trust, and the Taiwan Independent Directors Association. The event brought together business leaders and industry experts to discuss IFRS sustainability disclosure standards, climate risk management, and corporate sustainability strategies.
SAI Chairman Huang Tsung-Jung was invited to join a panel discussion alongside Lin Ting-Fang, Chairman of CMP Group, and Chang Yu-Mei, Chairperson of the Tien Cheng Medical Group. The panelists exchanged perspectives on how businesses are responding to evolving sustainability disclosure requirements and integrating sustainability into corporate strategies.
As companies prepare for IFRS S2 climate-related disclosures and increasing carbon reduction expectations from international customers, SAI continues to integrate sustainability into its operations through cross-functional collaboration, material innovation, and manufacturing process improvements.
A key focus of SAI’s sustainability strategy is the development and application of recycled aluminum. Through its RESAICAL® recycled aluminum brand, SAI recovers and remelts aluminum scrap generated during forging operations, creating a circular material system that maximizes resource efficiency. Based on the company’s product carbon footprint data, recycled aluminum can achieve approximately 96% lower carbon emissions compared with primary aluminum.
Beyond circular manufacturing, SAI is strengthening its expertise in aluminum alloy technology, quality verification, and high-value material applications. The company is also exploring opportunities in semiconductor equipment and components, leveraging its precision manufacturing capabilities to support future industrial applications.
Looking ahead, SAI remains committed to advancing sustainable manufacturing through precision engineering, recycled aluminum technology, and continuous material innovation. By collaborating with customers and supply chain partners, SAI aims to create long-term value while contributing to a more sustainable, low-carbon industrial future.
